Stacy Ryan (28) is a high school teacher from South Australia.

At the tender age of just 15, Stacy's mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. 

Putting her own needs aside, she nursed her terminally ill mother for five years. Upon her mother's passing Stacy found the grief too much to cope with and turned to food for comfort.

She has since lost over 29kg and is now an avid exerciser, recently completing a 100km bike race and now planning to compete in half-marathons following her recent marriage!
